For as long as I can remember, I struggled with stomach discomfort and GI issues. The pain and sick feeling was so uncomfortable that I eventually developed an unhealthy relationship with food. I became scared of eating anything, thinking that even a bite can cause the bloating and pain. Due to my restricting behaviors, my weight dropped to an unhealthy range, leaving me frail and thin. Fast forward to my college years, after years of yo-yo dieting, I gained a whopping 40 pounds above my ideal body weight, in addition to my stomach pain and cystic acne.
Medical test after test, and not one doctor was able to figure out why I was in so much pain. Was it normal to be in pain after every meal? To wake up in the middle of the night crying in pain? I needed to make a change. I took it into my own hands and found a solution.
By modifying my eating habits, my world changed. My life turned upside down. As soon as I changed the way I ate, my skin started glowing, my stomach was no longer bloated, and I developed a passion for nutrition.
Once I was able to heal my own body, I continued my passion through studies and obtained a Master’s degree in Nutrition. I am dedicated in showing you how food can transform your life.
